The Department of Curriculum Management and the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate  collaborated to launch a campaign to encourage healthier lunchboxes. Support teachers from HESC facilitated an intervention about healthy and balanced packed lunches to Year 6 pupils as well as their parents. Pupils together with their parents participated in a practical intervention where they actually prepared a balanced packed lunch using fresh ingredients from the school’s own kitchen garden.
