The European Money Quiz is a European competition on financial literacy for 13-15-year-old students. The quiz has been held since 2018 under the coordination of the European Banking Federation. The European Money Quiz is one of the many activities organized every year during the European Money Week. The Malta Bankers’ Association in collaboration with the Home Economics Seminar Centre within the Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes and supported by JAYE Malta Foundation and ĠEMMA, are coordinating the national selection in preparation for the European Money Quiz – Grand Final. This is the first time that a local quiz is being organized to select the national winners for participation in the European final. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the European Final of the European Money Quiz will be held as an online competition on Tuesday 20th April 2021, using the free game-based learning platform Kahoot!
